Clanker's Cavern

Welcome to clankers cavern!
This.. Is clanker. a robotic shark from the beautiful n64 game Banjo Kazooie. seriously, go play that game. it has an xbox port and everything. go do it now.
Clankers cavern was my least favorite level when beginning my new playthrough of the game this month.
now that I've beaten it on my own, it's my favorite level.
my least favorite level is rusty bucket bay btw

So... I actually did traditional art! and.. photo manipulation! yeah, this drawing was /too big/ to fit under the scanner... but it looks ALMOST right.. i'm happy with how both versions came out.
this took.. it took 3 days. *inhale* I sketched it out one day, made the lines thicker the next, and today I stopped procrastinating, penned over the drawing(which was honestly the worst part, since I had no art pens and just a bunch of dollar tree pens that were already 3 years old and almost totally dry), and colored it(with my prismacolors! I hadn't really used them yet...)

so overall, this drawing was one huge test. a test of doing traditional art, drawing water over a character without layers, of how well the scanner works, of my editing skills, of shading, of blending, of my fancy colored pencils, my sketchpad.. it was a test of everything.
I'm really proud of this ^^, probably gonna hang it on my wall
